Hi my name is Lyrissa. I have three brothers and two sisters not including me. I am the second oldest. I go to Christ the King School. I am a New Zealand born Samoan. My favourite thing about school is when we do art because you get to be creative. I am in year four and I am 9 years old. My Mum and Dad are Samoan. I like to help friends when needed and play with them. I like making them happy and excited. I am fun to be around. I enjoy doing art and some maths. I also enjoy playing with family and friends.
I’m good at writing because I like expressing my ideas.
My challenges for this year are to listen carefully to instructions and to finish my work on time.
The goals for this year are to finish my work on time and to be the best that I can be.
I would like to share art, stories and information about myself on my blog. I would also like to share what I’ve been doing at school.
My achievements are learning to dance in a Samoan way and to speak Samoan. I can talk Samoan to my family.
